Robin received his doctorate in clinical Christian counseling and addiction studies in 2009 with formal training and education in clinical and administrative social work for which he has been in practice since 1985. His experience in providing individual, couples, marital and family therapy for all ages with a special interest in the principles and practice of genuine recovery is extensive. His personal background is diverse connecting military heritage, urban and rural experiences with living throughout the United States. Philosophy
A holistic and comprehensive emphasis is given within a cognitive, Christian, faith-based and spiritual perspective that offers a rational, reasonable and emotional approach in the treatment of many personal problems. This approach includes the importance of how making responsible choices along with personal interpretation of life events is crucial in the process of change that combines the benefits of using the sum total of life experience from both therapist and client. Robin defines therapy as a healing of the soul and mind that instills a living hope by having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Robin believes there is tremendous purpose and meaning to be experienced through personal hardship that can lead to sustained peace, stability and joy. As we believe that God is the creator of all, then we also can accept that God has the answers to our problems when choosing to be more God dependent and less self-reliant.
