Philosophy
My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral (CBT). Along with CBT, I utilize Interpersonal Therapy, Play Therapy, or Family Systems-based therapy depending on the needs of the client. When clients express a desire, I find it valuable to incorporate spirituality and Scripture in the treatment process. I believe a positive therapeutic relationship is crucial for effective treatment and I endeavor to meet each client where they are emotionally and spiritually. Therapy is viewed as a collaborative process and I encourage clients to be actively engaged in order to receive the most benefit.
